20-YEAR-OLD THANK YOU – Haydn Delorme

A FINAL THANK YOU AND GOODBYE TO OUR 20 YEAR OLDS – Haydn Delorme

The Swan Valley Stampeders would like to acknowledge forward Haydn Delorme for his commitment, dedication and sacrifices to both the Swan River Valley and the Stampeders organization in his brief tenure with the team.

The Swan Valley Stampeders acquired the 2000 born forward from the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BCHL before the 2020-21 MJHL season kicked off.

Prior to playing with the Spruce Kings in the BCHL, Delorme made stops with Portland Winterhawks (WHL) – dressing in 31 games, collecting one goal and four assists – and the Coquitlam Express (BCHL) where he dressed in 64 games, scoring six goals while adding nine assists.

In eight games this season, Delorme posted four goals while adding nine assists – second in team scoring – and was fifth overall in league points.

“Haydn was one of our Alternate Captains this season and was a great addition to the team,” said Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff. “Delorme has a high-end vision on the ice and has an unbelievable hockey IQ. He understands the game better than most, his play-making abilities are way above average and surprised many teammates with passes on their tape through traffic. Haydn has a knack to score big goals in big games and at crucial times. He a great kid and an even better teammate.”

The entire Swan Valley Stampeder Organization would like to thank you Haydn and wish you, and your family, all the best as you move forward.
