Brad Fortin Commits to The University of Jamestown

The Swan Valley Stampeders of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League are proud to announce that twenty-year-old forward Brad Fortin has committed to play for the Jamestown Jimmies in the fall of 2022.

Jamestown is located in North Dakota, USA and is an ACHA division one school.

Fortin, a native of Langley, B.C. played two seasons for the Stampeders collecting 15 goals, adding 22 assists and 59 penalty minutes in 57 regular season games.

“I am really excited to attend the University of Jamestown and continue my education and hockey career,” said Fortin. “I want to thank the Swan Valley Stampeder’s organization, Barry Wolff and the coaching staff, the Delta Ice Hawks hockey team, my teammates, Impact hockey development, and my family and friends who supported me throughout my hockey career.”

“Fortin will definitely be an outstanding piece to our forward group,” said Jimmies Head Coach Dean Stork. “With his tenacity and hardworking mentality he will be an excellent fit with our group. He will add to our program’s identity, Very excited to see him play next season. Welcome to the Jimmie family Brad.”
