Former Stampeder Justin Valentino Signs With The Brampton Beast

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO – The Brampton Beast announce today that they have signed forward Justin Valentino to an SPC for the 2020-21 season.

Valentino, 27, is coming off a year which saw him split time between Briancon in France and Podhale Nowy Targ in Poland.

The slick forward had four points through eight games in France before moving to Poland where he scored eight goals and 17 points through 30 games.

Prior to the most recent season, Valentino brought his hard working brand of hockey to the University of Lethbridge, where he suited up for five seasons.

His best statistical campaign in his university tenure came during the 2016-17 season where he scored 16 goals and was a point a game player through 28 games.

The native of Thompson, Manitoba, Valentino also played in the MJHL and donned the jersey of both the Swan Valley Stampeders and Dauphin Kings over the course of his time in the league. He was also named to the MJHL All-Rookie Team in 2011-12.
