IG Wealth Management Game Two Report vs the Dauphin Kings

The best-of-seven quarter final series between the Swan Valley Stampeders and the Dauphin Kings continues tonight as the series shifts to Dauphin for game two.

The Stampeders will travel down Highway 10 as they look to take a 2-0 series lead on the Kings tonight in enemy territory.

Both teams fought hard in game one at the Centennial Arena to kick off the opening round of the MJHL Playoffs. The Stampeders found their stride midway through the second period and used two goals in the third period to win 2-1 and take a 1-0 series lead.

Collin Jennings and Jakob Jones added two assists, Trey Sauder and Justin Keck scored goals off deflections while Kobe Grant stole the show stopping 29/30 shots.

The Stampeders will need to use that same momentum they had in the second half of the game if they look to defeat the Dauphin Kings on the road tonight at Credit Union Place and take a 2-0 series lead.

Pizza Place has become the official viewing party of the Swan Valley Stampeders for all AWAY games during their playoff push. If you cannot make the games in Dauphin or do not have access to hockeytv, you can head to Pizza Place and catch all the action live.
