Stampeders clash with Wolverines on Wednesday night
Stampeders: 6-12-0-0 (5th in West) Power Play % (22.4% 7th in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (68.3% 12th in MJHL)
Wolverines: 7-10-1 (4th in West) Power Play % (25.0% 1st in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (71.8% 11th in MJHL)
Tonight starts the three game week for the Stampeders, as they start by heading to Waywayseecappo to take on the Wolverines.
The last time these two teams faced, the Stampeders got the home ice advantage and were able to nullify the Wolverine offence, on their way to a 5-2 win on home ice. The Stamps played almost a full 60 minutes, and must try and implicate that onto the road.
The Stampeders have struggled on the road and will need to try and flip things over, as they head into the building they’ve struggled the most in, at the Waywayseecappo Arena Complex.
A couple of strong practices by the Stamps and especially energized from their huge 6-4 win over the Blues just last Saturday, has them feeling confident about their chances.
