IG Wealth Management – Pre Game Report

Stamps travel north for clash with the Blizzard

Stampeders: 6-16-3-0 (5th in West) Power Play % (24.2% 4th in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (67.0% 12th in MJHL)

Blizzard: 3-16-1-2 (6th in West) Power Play % (14.3% 12th in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (81.7% 5th in MJHL)

It’s the first meeting of the season between the Stampeders and the Northern Manitoba Blizzard. Tonight’s game will go down in The Pas inside of the Roy H. Johnston Arena at 7 pm.

The Blizzard have lost their last 12 games and have struggled for the entirety of this season. With only a few number of returning players from last season’s championship, new coaching staff, and a completely new look, the Blizzard seem to be more on the outside, looking in.

The Stampeders have lost their last seven games, but have been able to get points in three of them including holding the lead in five of the games. It is evident that they are hungry for a win, and that they do not want to be out of this playoff conversation in the West Division.

Players to Watch:

Stampeders: Riley Fequet, Gavin Bartha, Ethan MacTavish

Blizzard: Isaac Tomchak, Kelton Kellerman, Jett Fogle
