The Stampeders will look to snap an eight game losing streak tonight against the Neepawa Titans, welcoming their West Division rivals to the SRCA for the first time this season.
The first meeting of the season between the two went down in Neepawa, as the Stampeders held a 2-0 lead at one point in the game and carried the lead into the third, where penalty trouble had the momentum flipped which led to the Titans coming back to win 3-2 in overtime.
Neepawa is coming off a loss to the Portage Terriers, while the Stampeders are going into this game after a disappointing 5-1 loss to the Northern Manitoba Blizzard. The Titans hold a comfortable lead on third place in the division, while the Stamps are hungry for a win.
With the Stampeders down by five points for the fourth and final playoff spot in the West, with a game in hand, they’ll need all hands on deck to narrow the deficit before the Christmas break.
Players to Watch:
Stampeders: Gavin Bartha, Ethan MacTavish, Crosby Harrison
Titans: Logan Paquette, Talen Wallis, Cooper Kasprick
