On the bitter end of a nine game skid, the Stampeders are back in action tonight as they welcome the Steinbach Pistons to town for a 7 pm puck drop.
The Stamps have already finished their two games on the road to Steinbach, their most recent game against the Pistons being a 4-3 OT loss. The season series shifts to Swan tonight.
The Pistons have been a very tough test for teams across the league. Tonight’s game is their third game of the week, as they have faced the Winnipeg Monarchs and NorMan Blizzard, winning by 7-0 scores. They’ll look to continue their winning ways tonight in the Corral.
The Stampeders have been struggling, but resilient. The team was oh so close to a win over the Neepawa Titans a week ago, falling 5-4 in a shootout. Hungry for a win, don’t count out this Stampeders team that has shown they can play with the league’s best.
Players to Watch:
Stampeders: Ben Groome, Jaxon Haley, Bennett Muller
Pistons: Evan Gradt, Jack Greenwell, Brett Kaiser
Tonight’s game begins at 7 pm tonight, the 50/50 is a guaranteed pot of $500 courtesy of Northern Light’s Eatery, head to www.stampedershockey.com to get your tickets, or find a 50/50 worker at tonight’s game.
