Stamps look for two points in The Pas
Stampeders: 6-19-3-1 (5th in West) Power Play % (21.6% 9th in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (67.9% 12th in MJHL)
Blizzard: 5-20-2-2 (6th in West) Power Play % (16.5% 11th in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (80.9% 5th in MJHL)
Tonight marks the beginning of a four game road trip for the Stampeders, as they head to The Pas tonight to take on the Blizzard.
After a 7-0 loss on Sunday, the Stampeders have a prime opportunity to finally break their 11 game skid, and face a team who is currently on a five game slide in the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.
Despite a 7-0 fallout, the Stamps had numerous opportunities throughout the game and must stay out of the penalty box, as well as limit their mistakes in this very important game, as they look to try and get back into the playoff hunt.
Though sitting last in the West division, the Blizzard sit only two points back of the Stampeders for fifth in the division. Tonight’s game surely has the grounds for some must watch hockey, as both teams look to try and move up the ladder.
Players to Watch:
Stampeders – Jake Giacobbo, Nate Hayes, Crosby Harrison
Blizzard – Jett Fogle, Isaac Tomchak, Kelton Kellerman
Tonight’s game will start at 7 pm, as the Stamps look to get back in the win column.
