Stamps host Wolverines for Cash Lotto Draw night
Stampeders: 7-22-3-1 (5th in West) Power Play % (21.7% 8th in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (66.4% 13th in MJHL)
Wolverines: 15-19-1-1 (4th in West) Power Play % (22.2% 7th in MJHL) Penalty Kill % (79.9% 6th in MJHL)
The Stampeders will return home tonight as they host the Wayway Wolverines for their Holiday Cash Lotto game.
This is the fifth time this season the Stamps and Wolverines will play, as Wayway has won 3 of the first four games with all of their wins coming in Wayway. The Stamps were able to get a win over the Wolverines when Wayway came to Swan for the first time, winning by a 5-2 score.
With a new looking team, the Stampeders will look to take some major key points from their last game to enter this game. The main thing was the heavy shot total from the Stamps against the Titans, as they put 46 shots on goal but could not find more than one goal.
Multiple posts, some big saves, and unlucky bounces saw the Stamps fall 4-1 in Neepawa. However, this leads the Stamps to being majorly overdue for an outburst of offence, and will look to break through tonight against the Wolverines.
Wayway will give the Stamps a handful however, as they’ve won three straight games and will try to make it four tonight and silence the Swan River faithful.
Players to Watch:
Stampeders: Trace Langan, Jake Giacobbo, Zach Hertz
Wolverines: Ben Roulette, Sebastien Hicks, Max Collyer
After tonight’s game, the draw for the Holiday Cash Lotto will begin, make sure you’re in attendance for the game and for the draw. Puck drop goes at 7 pm.
