After two straight wins on home ice, the Stamps hit the road to Winnipeg this morning to take on the Monarchs.
It’s a great opportunity for this group to potentially get some much needed points as the season winds down and the playoff race gets tighter.
Swan is coming off a great kids game against the Northern Manitoba Blizzard, winning 5-3 in front of a home crowd of over 650 students from all over Swan. Ben Groome led the way with two goals, Noah Stott, Aidan Grant, and Trace Langan all had singles in the win. Sam Bastien made 23/26 saves in the win.
The Monarchs are on the bitter end of a seven game skid, with their last win coming on Dec. 16 of 2025. They may not have the best record, but the Monarchs are a team that can not be taken lightly and will surely cause some mayhem in trying to steal two points from the Stamps.
Players to Watch:
Stampeders: Ben Groome, Noah Stott, Jake Giacobbo
Monarchs: Deegan Wapass, Cam Alt, Thomas Gale
Tonight’s game goes at 7:30 pm while tomorrow’s game is at 6 pm against the Monarchs once again. The Stamps will remain on the road for a Tuesday game against the Virden Oil Capitals.
