Justin Keck Commits to Briercrest College

The Swan Valley Stampeders are pleased to announce that forward Justin Keck has committed to play with Briercrest College in Caronport, SK for the upcoming season.

The 20-year-old made stops with the Humboldt Broncos (SJHL) playing in 14 games before he was acquired by the Stampeders in 2021. He finished his Junior career with the team that drafted him and was a massive part of the Stampeders success the past two season.

The 5”10”, 175-pound speedster from Morris, MB was originally drafted by the Stampeders in the 6 th round, 58th overall in the 2017 MJHL draft.

Keck dressed in 90 regular season games with the Stampeders, scoring 39 goals and adding 42 assists. He was a big part of the Stamps’ recent playoff run, picking up eight goals while adding seven assists in 12 playoff games.

“We are very proud and happy for Justin,” said Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff. “Since Keck arrived to play for the Stampeders, he continued to take his game to a higher level every day. Justin is very eager to learn and pushes himself to improve constantly. We want to wish Justin, his family, and Briecrest the very best moving forward.”

The Swan Valley Stampeders continue to provide a great platform that allows our players to stay focused and committed to their long term goals of making it to the next level.

Congratulations Justin Keck on his recent commitment to Briercrest.
