Matt Osadick Named to Team Canada West

Swan Valley Stampeder forward Matt Osadick has been named to team Canada West. The Selection camp took place in Calgary, AB December 3rd to the 5th. Hockey Canada announced the 22 man roster Wednesday afternoon and he will be joined by fellow MJHL players Matt Radomsky of Steinbach, and Reilly Funk of Portage. 

“We are so happy for Matt and we are all proud of him for his accomplishments,” said Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff. “Congrats to the other MJHL players as well, Reilly Funk of Potage and Matt Radomsky of Stienbach.” 

18 year old Matt Osadick and the rest of Team Canada West will now shift their focus on the World Junior “A” Challenge in Bonnyville, AB which will run December 9th to the 16th. Good luck Matt, Go Team Canada West.
