Stamps fight hard, gain a point in 3-2 OT loss in Neepawa
The Stampeders played well in the 60 minutes in Neepawa, but could not hold onto the 2-0 lead they gave themselves in the first period.
Gavin Bartha opened the scoring early in the first period. The Stampeders were able to make it 2-0 after Ben Groome won a face-off to himself and passed back door to Ethan MacTavish for the insurance marker.
The score remained 2-0 until the late goings of the second, when Talen Wallis scored to make it 2-1 headed to the third period.
The final frame saw the Titans get a power-play just over nine minutes into the third, which seen them tie the game and send it to over-time.
Logan Paquette ended the game and sealed the 3-2 OT win for the Titans. Easton Falls played well once again, making 35/37 saves in the loss.
Next up; The Stampeders match up with the Portage Terriers on Saturday, Nov. 29 inside the SRCA for a 7 pm puck drop.
