Hockey Canada announced its selection camp rosters today ahead of the upcoming World Junior A Challenge in Truro Nova Scotia starting December 10th.
100 kids from across Canada will be vying for a spot on either Team Canada West or Team Canada East.
Swan Valley Stampeders forward Matt Osadick has been named to Team Canada West’s selection camp roster which begins in December.
The 17 year old who hails from Winnipeg Manitoba said that he is excited about the selection and that it’s a very proud moment for him in his young career. Osadick went on to say that he was informed last Thursday and he would be flying out to Calgary in early December.

Matt’s work ethic and commitment has been tremendous thus far. He is a young man who understands the meaning of hard work and dedication. I can’t say enough good things about Matt Osadick. Not only is he a great hockey player, he is a great young man.
Matt Osadick will be in Calgary at the Marlin MacPhail Center for camp December 2nd to the 5th.
Team Canada West will open its tournament against the Czech Republic at 3:30 p.m. AT on December 10th.
