Paull Funeral Home & Crematorium Three Stars of the Week (Dec. 11 – Dec. 18)

It’s time for another Three Stars of the Week, which is brought to you by Paull Funeral Home and Crematorium. Every Monday we will be awarding three players who had a big week and giving them stars. We will be doing this week-to-week with points being collected throughout the season. The top three will players will be recognized and presented an award during our final home game of the regular season.

The Swan Valley Stampeders temperature dropped this past weekend, only collecting one of four points up for grabs against two very good teams in the Dauphin Kings and the OCN Blizzard.

The MGEU West Division has got a little harder as the season progressed, and all four teams are within two points of one another. It’s going to be a very fun second half of the season as people are already talking about different scenarios come season end.

The Stampeders didn’t fare well the past two games, dropping a 4-3 decision in Dauphin, losing in overtime again Friday night. The Stamps’ followed that up with an embarrassing 8-3 loss on home ice Saturday night to the OCN Blizzard.

The loss to the Blizzard has now dropped Swan Valley to second place in the West (18-10-3-1), a division you cannot take a night off in.

The “Three Stars of the Week” is brought to you by Paull Funeral Home & Crematorium, and will be awarded week-to-week with points being collected throughout the season. The top three will players will be recognized at the end of the season.

Three stars point system is as follows:
