We will be doing this week-to-week with points accumulating throughout the season. The top three will players will be recognized and presented an award during our final home game of the season.
The Swan Valley Stampeders finished of the 2021 portion of their schedule with a pair of losses to the Portage Terriers at Stride Place. The Terriers doubled up the Stamps’ 4-2 Friday Dec. 17 and then defeated Swan Valley 5-1 Saturday Dec. 18. The Stampeders had a chance to get to .500 hockey on the year but failed to do so and now sit with a record of 12-16-0-2.
Noah Fladager and Jackson Betcher each collected a goal in Friday night’s loss while Betcher scored the team’s only goal in a 5-1 loss Saturday night.
It has been an up and down season for the Stampeders but they do remain in the mix in the West Division. Swan Valley finds themselves one game back of fourth place and two games back of third in the West.
