The Swan Valley Stampeders recognize the importance of Movember in raising awareness for Men’s health – particularly mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
This November the team is showing their support in two ways:
- Selling Stampeders branded Movember T-shirts with full proceeds going toward local men’s health initiatives. These shirts are available at every Stampeders home game in November for just $10 and can be purchased at the door before the game or at The Stall during intermission.
- By growing their own moustaches – a fun competition to see which players can grow the most creative upper lip accessory. While some of the guys got a bit of a head start, fans will get to vote on who was able to grow the best ‘mo’ at the end of the month.
