The Swan Valley Stampeders have acquired 2003 defenceman Lare Pahtayken from the Melfort Mustangs of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for futures.
The 6’2” 209 lbs. right shot defenceman from Onion Lake, Sask., dressed in one game for the Mustangs this season.
Before that, Pahtayken spent the start of the 2020-21 season with the Tisdale Trojans of the Saskatchewan AAA U18 League. He had one assist in three games. In the 2019-20 season, Pahtayken was with the Golden Rockets of the KIJHL scoring seven goals and adding 16 assists in 45 games.
