The Swan Valley Stampeders have made their first move of the off-season.
The club announced today that they have traded 17-year-old Forward Garett Zasitko to the Winnipeg Blues of the MJHL for the CJHL playing rights of 19-year-old Forward Jayce Nikbakht and future considerations.
The 6’2” 195 lbs native of Regina, SK collected three goals, adding seven assists, and 104 penalty minutes in 53 games last season with the Notre Dame Hounds of the SJHL.
We thank Garett, and wish him nothing but the best moving forward with his new team.
