Stampeders Assign Goaltender Scott Thompson to Columbia Valley

The Swan Valley Stampeders announced that they have assigned 18-year-old goaltender Scott Thompson to the Columbia Valley Rockies of the KIJHL.

Thompson, a Winnipeg native dressed in two preseason games and as a back-up in the absence of Kobe Grant to start the season.

The 6’0” 161 lbs. goaltender is heading to a team that sits first overall in the Eddie Mountain Division of the league.

The Stampeder organization would like to wish Scott Thompson all the best moving forward with his new team.
