Stampeders attend Terry Fox Run

This past Sunday September 17th, the Swan Valley Stampeders Hockey Club took part in the 37th annual Terry Fox Run here in Swan River for the 5th time. All 23 players as well as Coach White and Grant Shanks were part of a group of 50+ participants that completed the run.
Organized by Jim Webster, father of Assistant Coach, Darren Webster, this was the 30th year for the Terry Fox run in Swan River. The Terry Fox Run was started to raise funds for Cancer awareness and research. As of Sunday, over $8000.00 has been raised this year, with more to come.
