Paler-Chow jumped onto the score sheet just over three minutes later, scoring right off an offence zone face-off. Fortin gave the Stampeders their insurance goal, tipping a shot from the point by Matchim for his 12th of the year. Leyton Smith cut into the Stamps’ lead at 17:23 of the second period, collecting his fifth of the year.
Swan Valley completely shut down and offence the Wolverines mustard in the third period and the Stampeders skated to a 4-2 win on home ice.
