The Swan Valley Stampeders may have lost the game but they picked up another big point in a 3-2 overtime defeat Saturday night.
Captain Landen Gulutzan opened the scoring, snapping home a loose puck that found its way in the slot 3:24 into the game.
Garrett MacDonald was able to tie the game at 11:33, snapping one home for his second of the year. Will Brown scored his second goal in as many games, breaking in all alone with less than three minutes to play in the second period.
DJ Meloney was the lone goal scorer in the third period forcing overtime for the second straight night in Neepawa.
And, for the second straight night, it was the Titans who skated away victorious as Colten Alexander scored his fifth of the season 53 seconds into the extra frame sending the home team home with a 3-2 win.
Swan will return home and get things back on track for next weekend.
