Stampeders Make Their First Offseason Deal

The Swan Valley Stampeders have made their first offseason trade as Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff looks to retool his team ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Swan Valley has teamed up with the Blackfalds Bulldogs and the Winnipeg Blues in a three team transaction. The Swan Valley Stampeders traded the playing rights of 2002-born goaltender Brock Moroz to Blackfalds for a Player Development Fee. Blackfalds then traded Moroz, and a PDF, to the Winnipeg Blues for Tyler Teasdale.

Moroz was acquired by the Stampeders Dec. 10, 2021 to be a back up to Kobe Grant while Dylan Black was injured and didn’t see any action in the short time he was with the Stampeders.

We would like to thank Brock Moroz, and his family for his time with the Stampeder organization and wish him the best with his future team.
