Stampeders Point Streak Snapped Sunday Night in The Pas

The Swan Valley Stampeders point streak comes to an end Sunday night in the Pas, losing 2-1 to the Blizzard.

Swan Valley has now fallen to 5-14-2-0 on the season with tonight’s road loss.

The offence has dried up once again and the Blizzard closed out a very tight checking game on home ice.

Ashton Gallagher opened the scoring at 5:09 of the first period, scoring on a 2-on-1.

Landed Gulutzan added his third of the year with 1:55 remaining in the second period, tying the game 1-1.  Keenan McNeill scored with two seconds left in the second period and the Blizzard held on for a 2-1 win Sunday night.
