The Swan Valley Stampeders held their preseason home opener tonight as they hosted the Dauphin Kings.

Both clubs dressed a little older group this evening as they are looking to finalize their rosters.

Alex Catani, Leeam Tivers (2) and Taron Topham all scored for Dauphin in the third but it wasn’t enough as the Stampeders held on to win 5-4.

Next action for the Stamps will be Thursday September 6th when they travel to Flin Flon to take on the bombers. The Stampeders next preseason home game will be Saturday September 8th when they host the Yorkton Terriers. Puck drop goes at 7:30pm.
