Stamps Dominate the OCN Blizzard 11-3 Tuesday January 29th

The Swan Valley Stampeders showed complete dominance over the OCN Blizzard Tuesday January 29th, winning 11-3 on home ice. 

North Vancouver, BC native Alex Uryga led the way with 4 goals, Quintin Sudom added 4 helpers and Michael Davis stopped 29/32 shots for the win.  

The Stampeders kicked off the scoring just 43 seconds into the game as Alex Uryga picked up his 9th of the year. Troy Quinn scored at 7:55, Bradly Goethals added another at 12:07, Brian Harris scored at 15:09, and the Stamps led 4-0 after 20 minutes of play. 

Alex Uryga picked up his 2nd of the game, scoring on the power play 57 seconds into the middle frame. The OCN Blizzard scored back-to-back goals as Dodge Long scored at 5:01 and Talon Thomas grabbed his 5th of the year at 7:11. Alex Uryga scored his 3rd of the game at 8:55 of the second, while Nolan Dawson answered back for the Blizzard at 19:55, and the Stampeders led 6-3 after 40 minutes of play. 

The 3rd period was all Swan Valley, as they added 4 more goals through-out the period. Alex Uryga, Jaden Townsend, Brian Harris, & Jun Yi Zhong picked up a goal each, and the Stampeders went on the defeat the Blizzard 11-3. 

The win moves the Stamps to 31-10-3-2 on the season.  The next action for Swan Valley will be Wednesday January 30th, in Dauphin as they are set to face the Kings. Puck drop goes at 7:30pm.
