The Bombers kept rolling in the the second as 20 year old Nate Hooper added to their lead. The Stampeders cut into the lead late in the period as goaltender Hunter Young misplayed the puck and Cole Chicoine scored on an empty net. After forty minutes of play the Stamps continued to trail the Bombers 2-1.

Flin Flon opened the flood gates in the third. Jessie Young scored early into the period and Donavan Houle scored two late goals as the Bombers went on to defeat the Stampeders 5-1.

The Next action for the Stampeders will be Saturday September 8th against the Yorkton Terriers. Puck drop is set for 7:30pm at the Centennial Arena.
