Stamps Even Series With 3-2 OT Win in Game 2

He scored the game winner for the Stamps’ in overtime as the club evened their semifinal series with a 3-2 win.

Just like last night, two of the best teams in the league gave the fans at the Centennial everything they could handle.

6:53 into the game, it was the former Saskatoon Blade, Goethals who opened up the scoring.

Just less than six minutes later Tanner Mole tied it for Steinbach as it was 1-1 after 20 minutes.

Riley Vautour scored the only goal in the second period for Steinbach as they led 2-1 after 40.

Young star, Matthew Osadick tied it up for Swan Valley very early in the third with a goal at the 2:22 mark.

Both Merek Pipes and Matthew Radomsky stole the show from that point.

Until, Goethals worked his magic and beat Radomsky just 3:13 into the first extra period.

The series will break until Wednesday night when it resumes in Steinbach.
