The Swan Valley Stampeders have traded 20 year old forward Tanner McKechnie to the Virden Oil Capitals for future considerations.
“Virden is getting a mature veteran player, a quality team mate, and a great all around player,” said Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff. “We want to thank Mac for his hard work and commitment to the Stampeders. We wish him nothing but the best with his new organization.”
The Stampeders return to home ice this Friday January 11th, as they face off against the Winkler Flyers at 7:30pm.
