Swan Valley Falls Hard On Home Ice Friday Night

The Swan Valley Stampeders fell hard Friday night at the Centennial Arena, losing 8-2 to the Virden Oil Capitals.

Naton Miller opened the scoring Friday night, collecting his 13th of the season 3:45 into the first period. Brett Savel added his fifth of the year giving the Oil Capitals a 2-0 lead 4:15 into the second period. Swan Battle back tying the game 2-2 on goals from Trey Sauder (7:07) PP, and Amar Powar (9:17). The Oil Capitals took over and scored six straight goals, claiming their 22nd win of the year.
