Swan Valley Star and Times Game Day Report

The Swan Valley Stampeders are back in action tonight against a new opponent – the Dauphin Kings.

Tonight marks the first time this season the two teams will face off against one another and you can say there will be some fireworks. The Kings and the Stampeders highway 10 rivalry will be renewed at the Credit Union Place at 7:30pm.

An interesting note – you have to look all the way back to January 29 2020 to find any stats between these two teams. That was the last time Swan Valley and Dauphin played against each.

Since then, many things have changed. COVID-19 restrictions are in place, proof of vaccination is now required to enter the games and both teams have made numerous changes to their lineup.

Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff has made some changes to his line-up card ahead of tonight’s matchup with the Kings. Cody Barns, Tyler Park and Darius Makse return while Cole Chauvette, Trey Sauder and Adam Rajsigl will not be dressed. Kobe Grant is expected to get the start in goal on the road tonight.
