Swan Valley Star and Times Game Day Report

The Swan Valley Stampeders head out on the road this afternoon for an early evening matchup with the Neepawa Titans. These two teams find themselves at the bottom of the West Division with nearly identical records. Swan Valley holds a record or 3-5-0-1 while Neepawa sits fourth with a record of 3-5-1.

The Stampeders have found themselves falling in the West division standings recently with three straight losses and will need a big game tonight on the road to regain traction in the standings.

Two keys to the game, stay out of the penalty box and keep the puck out of your own net. The Stampeders offence was silenced against the Titans on home ice Friday night and will need to rebound in order to leapfrog the Titans and the OCN Blizzard in the standings.

Earlier today Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff announced that the Swan Valley Stampeders have added a new player to the rosters. Jacob Palor-Chow makes his way to the Stampeders from the Olds Grizzlies of the AJHL. The 5’7” 141 lbs Vancouver native is expected to make his debut tonight.

Wolff has also shuffled his lineup for this evenings contest which will hopefully spark some offence. Returning to the lineup is Forward Callum Fortin and Defencemen Dayvan Bull and Jayden Mosiondz. Kobe Grant will get the start in goal. Not dressing tonight will be Ethan Matchim, Lare Pahtayken, Jordan Gagnon, Darius Makse and Jayce Nikbakht.
