Stampeders look for points in pivotal Divisional matchups
The Stamps will look to gain ground in the West Division standings when they face the Neepawa Titans and Waywayseecappo Wolverines this week.
They’ll face the Titans on Wednesday in Neepawa for a 7:30 pm puck drop. Neepawa is coming off a loss to the Winkler Flyers by an 8-3 score, while the Stamps have lost two straight to the Steelers and Nighthawks.
The Stamps struggled with penalty trouble on Saturday and faced the best team in the MJHL on Friday, trying to mesh their new looking team together.
Swan and Neepawa have gone to extra time every single meeting this season, with the Titans being able to get the extra point every time. Meanwhile, the Wolverines currently lead the season series 3-1, winning all three games in Wayway while the Stamps were able to win in Swan.
These are two very meaningful games that could see the Stampeders get back into the mix of things.
