Tonight’s Matchup: vs the Titans: The Stampeders parade to the penalty box and two misconducts didn’t help their cause last Saturday in Waywayseecappo. The Stampeders will need to do a much better job of giving up a man advantage tonight against a team that can beat you on any given night. The Titans sit seven points back of the Stampeders and eight points out of the fourth and final playoff spot. The Stampeders need to find a way to break out of their recent three-game losing streak tonight at the Centennial Arena. 

 

Last Game: 5-2 loss to the Wolverines: The Stampeders’ lost their scoring touch last weekend, dropping back-to-back games against the Wolverines. The latest loss came Saturday night where they gave up a total of 38 penalty minutes to a very potent offensive team. Justin Keck pushed his point streak to six straight games by picking up two goals and an assist last weekend. Keck collected six goals, adding six assists in his last six games played.

Something has got to give at the Centennial Arena tonight as both teams are still within reach of a playoff spot come late march. 

 

Last Game: 3-2 loss to Waywayseecappo: The Titans gave up one goal in the first and two in the second to the Wolverines Tuesday (Feb. 7). The Titans did respond with two of their own but couldn’t find the equalizer to force overtime, and fell 3-2 on the road.
