The IG Wealth Management Game Day Report vs Waywayseecappo

The Swan Valley Stampeders will look to improve their record to 4-3-1-1 tonight as they host the Waywayseecappo Wolverines at the Centennial Arena.

The Stampeders have showed they can skate with the leagues best teams so far this year, but what is apparent is their lack of scoring. Whether that be 5-on-5 or on the man advantage.  What is also apparent is the goaltending tandem of Kobe Grant and Loic Mainguy-Crepault. A solid 1-2 punch that gives the Stampeders a chance to win every night, but giving up over 40 shots a game has to change and needs to be rectified quickly.

Waywayseecapp Wolverines are a quick striking team and can punish you on any turnover. Something Swan Valley will need to limit on home ice tonight to give them the best chance to find two points.

Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff tweaked his lineup ahead of tonight’s game. Matthew Munro, Blake Hiltermann, Amar Powar and Griffin Ayotte will all dress tonight.  Loic Mainguy-Crepault is expected to get his second start of the season, giving Grant a much needed rest.

Players to watch

Swan Valley – Justin Keck (3G, 6A), Adam Rajsigl (2G, 5A), Jakob Jones (4G, 1A) and Tyler Park (1G, 4A).

Tonight’s game is a proud presentation of Rough Country Ag with a first intermission, rapid fire mini stick shootout, for some amazing prizes.

Also, we have teamed up with the Empty Bobbin to help raise funds for Amara’s Amigos and Cancer Care Manitoba. Tickets are $5 each and the draw will be Nov. 1. (Quilt made by Julie Baskier). Purchase your tickets as you enter the game tonight in the lobby.
