Tonight’s Matchup: vs Waywayseecappo: Swan Valley is coming off a two week home-stand where they went 4-0 over the course of four games. Collecting as many points early on in the season as possible is key as they become tougher to get as the season wears on. Swan Valley hasn’t had much luck in Waywayseecappo recently and they will need to find that mojo they had two seasons ago. Swan will need to stay out of the penalty box tonight as Wayway can score and, given many opportunities, they will capitalize.

Last Game: 3-2 OT win over Winkler: The Stampeders dug in early and found a way to keep their win streak alive on home ice last Saturday. Trey Sauder scored a power play marker in the first, Jakob Jones scored early in the third and Captain Tyler Park scored seven seconds into overtime to claim the victory. Kobe Grant picked up the win in net, stopping 34 of the 36 shots he faced.

Both teams have win streaks heading into tonight’s contest, Wayway has won their last two games while the Stamps’ bring with them a four game unbeaten streak. The Wolverines will heavily rely on their top guys to find a way to win a third straight game and keep their streak alive.

Last Game: 6-3 win over the Winnipeg Freeze: The Wolverines scored all six of their goals in the first period last Saturday and put it on cruise control the rest of the way, defeating the Freeze 6-3. Tresor Wotton picked stopped 21/24 shot he faced in the win.
