Tonight’s Matchup: vs the Wolverines: The Stampeders’ point streak was snapped before the Christmas break, in an embarrassing 8-3 loss to the OCN Blizzard on home ice Saturday, Dec. 17. The Stampeders will need to regain their focus fast, as they have a chance to gain some ground on the Wolverines, who sit just one point behind them in the MGEU West Division. A home-and-home series starts tonight and concludes Sunday in Waywayseecappo. A four point weekend is just what the Stampeders need.
Last Game: 8-3 loss to OCN: The Stampeders forgot to show up in their final home game of the 2022 calendar year, falling to the Blizzard 8-3. OCN scored four in the first period, three in the second and added one more in the third on route to victory, and regaining first place back in the West Division.
