Tonight’s Matchup: vs Portage: Swan Valley has won five out of their last six games and are looking to keep their recent success rolling tonight it Portage. The Stampeders need to keep the shots against down and limit their penalties in order to have a chance at two points against the league’s best team tonight at Stride Place.

Last Game: 4-3 shootout win over the Winnipeg Blues: The Stampeders started the game on time, but found themselves trailing for a good portion of the contest.   Hayden Pimm, Myles Mason and Warren Marcotte all found the back of the net, forcing overtime and then a shootout. Loic Mainguy-Crepault was rock solid in a 40 plus save performance to help his team to victory last night.

Tonight’s Matchup: vs Swan: The Terriers continue their dominance over the MJHL, and will need to play a full 60 minutes to take down the Stampeders, who have been red hot as of late. Watch for a big game from Bryden Kiesman, who scored all five of his goals against the Stampeders.

 Last Game: 2-1 win over Steinbach: The Portage Terriers sit atop the MGEU East Division with a record of 16-3 for a reason. They find a way to win regardless of their opponents. The Terriers found themselves trailing early in the game but found a way to score a power play goal late in the first period, and Austin Peters scored the eventual game winner at 19:49 of the second period Friday night in Steinbach.
