Tonight’s Matchup: vs the Steelers: The Stampeders will need a solid start to tonight’s contest, and will need to find a way to stay out of the penalty box with the highly skilled offence of the Selkirk Steelers.  Playing a full 60 minutes will help them move closer to their goal, that being first overall in the MGEU West Division come playoff time.

Last Game: 8-1win over the Freeze: The Stampeders’ found a way to score eight straight goals on-route to a dominating win Friday night in Winnipeg.  Swan scored one in the first (short-handed), four straight in the second, including a penalty shot goal, and three more in the third while Kobe Grant stopped 32/33 shots he faced for his 22 nd win of the year.

Last Game: 4-2 loss to the Winkler Flyers: The Winkler Flyers scored a goal in the second period and added three more in the third to take down the Steelers Friday night. Lucas Brenan added to his league leading point total, scoring his 40 th of the season in the loss.
