Tonight’s Matchup: vs the Pistons: The Stampeders proved to themselves they have what it takes to elevate their game, and will need to find another gear tonight in hopes of keeping their win streak intact and creating more separation atop the MGEU West Division. Swan Valley will need all four lines and a solid 60-minute effort tonight from their entire lineup to take down the Pistons.
Last Game: 5-2 win over Neepawa: The Stampeders’ had a rough start to the game Wednesday night, but found their stride and ran away with the game. In what appeared to be a playoff-style game, the Stampeders scored two in the first period, one in the second and two more in the third to punch their ticket to this year’s MJHL Playoffs. Still, the Stampeders will need to play out the rest of the season and bring it every night if they want to stay at the top of the division and claim home ice in the first round of the playoffs.
