Tonight’s Matchup: vs the Nighthawks:The Stampeders will be looking to do something they haven’t been able to do in a very long time, win eight straight games. Tonight will be a big test for the red-hot Stampeders squad as they travel south to face the west division’s second-place Virden Oil Capitals. Strong goaltending and staying out of the penalty box are a must if the Stampeders look to secure first overall in the Standings with just two games left in the MJHL Regular Season.
Last Game: 6-1 win over Niverville: Swan Valley came to play last Saturday, taking down the visiting Niverville Nighthawks, pushing their win streak to seven games. Swan scored three straight in the first period, added a power play marker in the second period and finished the game off with a pair of goals in the third. Loic Mainguy-Crepault was the first star of the game, stopping 36/37 shots he faced.
