The Stampeders Fall 5-1 Saturday night to the NorMan Blizzard

The Swan Valley Stampeders fell to 0-2 on the season, dropping a 5-1 decision to the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.

The Blizzard started right where they left off, scoring 2:39 into the second period and never looked back scoring 5 goals on route to a 5-1 win on home ice and improved to 2-0 on the season. Swan Valley’s only goal came off the stick of newly named captain Landen Gulutzan at 14:19 of the second period.

The Stampeders will return to action next weekend with a three-in-three road trip.
