Stamps look for weekend sweep against Kings

After allowing the opening goal in last night’s game, the Stampeders scored 6 goals in a row to route the Kings by a 6-2 score last night. However, we now look to tonight, as the Stamps and Kings faceoff for the second Highway 10 matchup.
Takeaways
Though not starting tonight, Joe Naccarato made 33/35 saves last night in his first MJHL win. Most of his big time saves came in the third, but regardless, it was a nice win for the 16 year old goaltender from St. Albert, AB.
The Stamps power play is becoming one of their most lethal weapons, as the power play unit went 4/5 last night. Also, speaking on special teams, the penalty kill didn’t have to work too hard yesterday, as the Stamps only took one penalty.
The opponent
Dauphin had a great start to the game last night, scoring just over 2 minutes in, but after taking the double minor penalty, things seemed to crumble in front of them. It’ll be interesting to see how the Kings try and respond tonight in Swan. Former Stampeder forward, and current Kings forward Bennett Muller had two assists in the loss.
