Paull Funeral Home 3 Stars of the Week

Swan Valley returned home after a three game road trip, where they took four of six points on the road. Mikael Foucher was the story this weekend as the youngster backstopped his club to a 3-2 shootout victory ‪Friday night‬ in Winkler, came on in relief of Michael Davis in a 5-4 loss to the Flyers Saturday, and finished the weekend with an outstanding performance in Portage in ‪Sunday night‬’s 6-2 win. (More on him below). The Stamps`rebounded this week posting a 2-1 record, proving to not only themselves, but the entire league exactly what they are capable of. The team improved their record to 14-7-2, which puts them in 5th place overall, four points behind the 1st place Steinbach Pistons. If you look at the standings, league parody continues to come to mind as just seven points separates 1st and 7th. The Stampeders continue to get scoring from all over their lineup, making this weeks 3 star selection another tough decision.
