Paull Funeral Home & Crematorium Three Stars of the Week (Mar. 10 – Mar. 17)

Every Monday we have been awarding three players who had a big week and giving them stars.

The top three players will be recognized and posted on social media in the coming days.

The Swan Valley Stampeders closed out their 2023-24 season on a losing note Saturday night, falling 5-1 to the Niverville Nighthawks. Prior to that, Swan fell 4-1 to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines. With the loss the Stampeders finished the year with a record of 11-44-3-0.

This will conclude the three stars of the week as well. Please see below for the Winners.

THREE STARS (Mar 10.  – Mar. 17)

3rd Star

Darren Hunt slides into the third star spot this week. The 18-year-old from Hartney, MB scored a power play goal Tuesday night against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines. Hunt closed out the season sitting third in scoring amongst defenceman.

2nd Star

Will Brown remains in the second star spot this week. The 19-year-old Delano, MN, USA, 6’0” 185lbs forward collected one goal last week. Brown closed out the season sitting fifth in team scoring with 17 points (5G, 12A).

1st Star

Callum Halls jumps to the top this week after a solid week in a Stampeder jersey. The 19-year-old, Brandon, MB, product collected two assists in two games played last week.  The 6’3” 205lbs forward closed out the season sitting first in team scoring with 32 points (10G, 22A).
