Every Monday we will be awarding three players who had a big week and giving them stars. We will be doing this week-to-week with points being collected throughout the season. The top three players will be recognized and presented an award during our final home game of the season.
The Stampeders played two games last weekend after an eight-day break in the schedule. Swan Valley split the weekend games against the Neepawa Titans and the Selkirk Steelers.
Swan had the legs Friday night at the Centennial Arena and looked like a completely different team in a 6-2 win over the Titans. Saturday, well that was a different team altogether, losing 6-1 to the Selkirk Steelers.
The season has been up, it has been down and the emotional rollercoaster continues as the Stampeders are set for another busy week ahead.
Swan Valley will host the Blizzard Tuesday Dec. 5 (Swan Valley Credit Union) at 7pm before they head out on the road for three games this weekend.
Hockey is for Everyone | The hockey for everyone game night jersey auction closed at 9 pm. We will announce the successful bid winners later today. Thank you to everyone who placed a bid.
