Stampeders board in good health following plea for volunteer help

The Swan Valley Stampeders Board of Directors is happy to announce that they have commitments to fill the six currently vacant board seats and have several interested parties ready to step up and fill the four seats that will become available at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.

“The response to our call for help last week was outstanding,” said President Cramer Coulthart. “The Valley really stepped up and showed that the Stampeders organization means a lot to the community. We will move forward with business as usual and look to hold our AGM in June as we normally would.

“We appreciate everyone who put their names forward to either serve on the board or to volunteer. Your commitment to the team and willingness to help is what will ensure the continued success of the organization for years to come.”

The board will continue to compile a list of volunteers to help with fundraising and game day duties. Volunteers can choose their level of commitment and preferred areas of interest including game day support, fundraising opportunities, rodeo booth shifts or other odd jobs where the team may have a need for extra hands.

If you are interested in volunteering with the team please call or text Danielle Gordon-Broome at 204·281·2082. You can also register using the online signup form located on the Stampeders website at www.stampedershockey.com.
