Stampeders Drop Second Straight Game, Lost 2-1 In Waywayseecappo Thursday Night

The Swan Valley Stampeders dropped their second straight game, losing 2-1 on the Wolverines Thursday night in Waywayseecappo,

After a scoreless first period, it was the Wolverines who opened the scoring in the middle frame. Ryan Jossy grabbed a loose puck, turned on the jets and scored a short-handed breakaway goal at 13:48 of the second period.  Ben Roulette added to the Wolverines lead, deflecting home a power play marker with 17 seconds left in the second to give the home team a 2-0 through 40 minutes of play.

Will Brown made things interesting in the third period, scoring his second of the season at 5:10 but, it wasn’t enough and Swan Valley dropped their second straight game.
